Cox London
Cox London is a company of designer-makers who create unique pieces of furniture and lighting for beautiful interiors. A crafted pre and post-sale branded packaging system have been developed to ensure stand-out at every step of the client journey - from on-site to showrooms and clients' homes.
An extensive planning and design exploration phase of the project identified key packaging formats and materials - to ensure the new branded packaging was fit for purpose and expressed Cox London's artisanal brand qualities.
A new oak leaf emblem and Arts & Crafts influenced aesthetic complements Cox London's furniture and lighting designs and the organic form of the logotype.
The style of the oak leaf mimics how the form appears in Cox London's design work - the stencil is based on oak leaf samples sent to clients and the tissue paper pattern is reminiscent of the sculptural forms used in signature lighting.
Different illustrative oak leaf forms were crafted to suit pre and post-sale packaging formats (an organic pattern for tissue paper, a foiled emblem for box lids and carrier bags, and a stencil for crates).
